Flexitallic manufacturers its largest ever gaskets for energy from waste plant

Flexitallic, the global market leader in the manufacture and supply of specialist sealing products and services, has produced one of its largest ever Flexpro Kammprofile Gaskets for an innovative renewable energy plant.  

 Measuring approximately four metres in diameter, the gaskets will be utilised within a re-gassifier system at a new energy from waste plant being constructed in the North East of England.

 The gaskets, which were manufactured at Flexitallic’s production facility in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, are one of a range of sealing products supplied by the company for the new plant, all of which feature the company’s ground breaking high temperature Thermiculite^® material.

 Exclusive to Flexitallic, Thermiculite^® gasket material was developed over a 15-year period for use in critical services applications, from cryogenics to temperatures in excess of 1000^oC.
